Stupid Snow.

It looks like a big winter storm is rolling in this weekend. This means no Ikea for me. Damn it! I was really looking forward to getting down there and FINALLY buying my curtains for my living and dining rooms. (The windows are so big, I need 108" curtains, and I can't get them here without paying about a gabjillion dollars per pair. So, I wait for the lustful curtain deals to be found at IKEA. :)The Packers lost, too. That Pass interferance call really screwed us. We had momentum before that call, and if it would not have been made, I really think we might have won. Goodbye home field advantage. Suck it, Cowboys.I have so much to do before Christmas. I'm doing mostly handmade presents this year, and they are really cool. I'll post some pictures of them after the holiday, as to not ruin anyone's surprise. All I can say is I am a sewing fool, and I'm really excited to be using my fabric stash.I need to clean this table up before I go to bed. It's totally bugging me. Since when am I a clean freak? Since I had a little boy who will soon start putting things in his mouth, that's when.
I'm turning 33 soon. Does it bother me? Not really. 35 is the new 25 I'm told. I know I don't feel old...let's hope it stays that way.

Updates

Happy Turkey day everybody.
I'm still getting over that miserable cold. I was doing better, but I just can't seem to shake it for good.
Henry has been a bitey biterson lately. Two days ago, he bit me about 30 times. I'm having a hard time seeing the future of my breastfeeding career when this happens. It stinks.
When he bites, I stop nursing, and then he screams. It's really a fun cycle. he was better yesterday, but today was a problem again. (He's been screaming off and on since 4am.)
I finally plugged him into a baby einstein. As a rule, I don't let him watch these videos, but I needed to make an exception today.
Hrmm.Even though it's been a rough day, he sure is a cutie watching his video.
Maybe he'll take a nap. I know I'm going to.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO sick.

Why, when I have the first function and business meeting coming up Monday-Wednesday do I have the worst sore throat? It's bad. It takes a lot to get me out of bed before 6am on a Sunday when I could be sleeping.
Now that I have Gargles three times and had three huge glasses of tea, I think I should be able to swollow enough to make the losenges work. yikes.
I hope I can still make it to the baby shower today. If not, I'll be sad I spent all the time this week making the present...

Wow.

I can't believe it has been that long. Really? Time seems to go by even quicker every day, and I am involved with my day to day life in a way I never was before I had kids. I don't know how to explain it, but I am just cruising through day by day, happy for every minute I get to spend doing my makeup, painting my nails, exercising, or otherwise investing in me.
Last Saturday, I revamped my whole hair style. if you remember, I cut off 8 inches in September, but this change was even more drastic. Think Blonde Victoria Beckham, though I was not asking for her look...
I had a consultation with this girl (Who was AWESOME) and we decided what color would look best, and what would look best for the shape of my face, and this is what she came up with...

Next week, I am in Chicago for three days for training with Glady taking care of Henry. It will be awesome, as I will still be able to breastfeed him, and still attend the training. I'll have to be gone for 4 or 5 days in January, and I think I am going to cry every night when I have to leave him. Man, that's going to suck...
Anyway, that's a quick update for now. I'll download the pictures, and this post will be complete...
