Four years and counting...: For you, my little man.

For you, my little man.

This blog started in the first place so I could document the quest for my wonderful son. He's 2 now, and getting so big. Time really does fly by once you have children, in a way I could not really understand before I had them.
Now I'm staring down child #2 (he or she is winning the fight at this point and kicking mommie's butt) but I wanted to just make a little comment about Henry and what he is doing. This post is to help me to remember this fleeting moment in his life.

Henry,
You are an amazing and happy little boy, You love to smile, and laugh, and hug your mommie. Whenever you don't want to do something, you say, No thank you. It's really a cute response.
Whenever you do something exciting, you say "TA DA!" and I can't help but smile. It's one of my favorite things you say.
You love to play with your trains and Bob Take alongs. You talk about them all day when we are not at home.
Another one of your favorite responses, "why, yes, sure, mommie.". How cute are you?
You are funny, joking in a way I'm surprised a 2 year old knows how. It all started when you called everything in your book "socks" on purpose, and has gotten funnier every day from there.
Now, you like to tickle mommie and daddy, and if we tickle you, you pretend to laugh and say"ooooh, that tickles" even if it doesn't.
I love my time with you. Thanks for being such a great kid. Cut mommie some slack over the next couple of weeks, ok?

Thanks. You'll always be my baby too.
XOXO, Mommie

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by the kojo blog...
I am so sorry to say that I don't have a birdie blanket from the dwell line! I grabbed some receiving blankets this time, and the little butterly blanket, but those are the first ones I've thought to get.
Hope you find one!
