Land of milk and honey, here we come!

So, we are moving back to Wisconsin. I have told my boss about it, and she is being very supportive. Dan found a job, and the transition will happen during the first few weeks in April.
Wow! How fast life can change.
This is the big announcement. Are you glad you waited for it? I hope so.
We have more to do than seemd can be done in the amount of time given. Maybe I will ask Bernie and Glady to come down so she can watch the baby while we pack. We are going to have a lot to get done in a short amount of time.
I'll keep you posted.

No More Sleep for Me...

The whirlwind is about to begin.

Ever feel like Dorothy just as the house is rising off of the ground in Kansas? Oz is not far away.

As a small break from the Chaos, please enjoy these new pictures of my beautiful Son:

Hey all!

Sorry it has been so long. If you know about what I've been cooking up, things are falling into place. If you don't, you'll have to wait until Monday when I make my announcement official.
We're going to see Grandma and Grandpa W this weekend. Should be a bitchin' good time. :)
We are printing out pictures to give to everyone, and then loading up the car tonight for a quick getaway in the morning. Lots to do!
Call my cell if you want the LOW DOWN.

SUCCESS!

We rocked the cute picture taking at the picture people today. (the ones above are from our private reserve, but I can copy you on the ones from the photo shoot today if you like.) Seriously! These pictures were great, and now we have a 10x13 picture of our son above our fireplace! Adorable. I could spend about a bajillion dollars at that place. Plus, they have a website where you can order mugs and tshits and cool stuff with baby's picture on it. I love all of that stuff!
I waffle between being excited about work to full out balling about leaving my baby. Is this sh*t normal? Seriously, I need some hormone replacement therapy or something.
I am also starting back on the Weight Watchers bandwagon on Monday. I'll be eating well and counting points again. I have lost about 45 of the 65 pounds I gained with the pregnancy, but this not having anything to wear thing is really bumming me out. We bought one more shirt and pair of jeans today. I'm not buying more than the pairs of jeans and dress pants I have now. That's it. I'm going to fit into my old clothes before I have to buy any more. It might be sabotage, but I have been eathing anything I want today in preparation. Oreos, here I am baby! I'll work it off... I SWEAR!
I need to get some sleep. Have fun turning your clocks back, and I will keep you updated on the transition back to work.
Love you!

Two Month old boy

I can't believe my baby is two months old! He is so amazing. He loves to smile and coo and make lovey faces at his mommy!
Returning to work is looming over me. I'm excited and apprehensive. I don't want to leave Henry. Only two weekdays left of non working bliss. Lord, give me strength on this one; I need all the help I can get. Get ready for a crying jag when I leave him at daycare next week.
I had Henry's first professional pictures taken last night. I went to a local chain studio because of a free package coupon I received in the hospital. THEY STUNK.
After arriving with my happy baby, the one lady working there did not acknowledge me, and I had to wait about 30 minutes before we actually started taking the pictures. When we took them, she wanted to take some naked ones (with diaper on) and Henry was so cold, he didn't want to smile. The pictures did not turn out great. I got the free package, and also ordered one sheet just so I had two poses. I think I am going to go to another photographer just to make sure I get the cutest pictures at this age. Do all baby photogs suck? I am not at all impressed.
I won't name the studio, but they rhyme with Bolan Wills. (Take that, you suckfest of a studio)
I got my wedding ring back! I had it sized up one size so I can wear it. It has been SO LONG! I am very excited to have it back and have something sparkly on my left ring finger. As a bonus, people will no longer give me the looks of being a hussy unwed mother just because I am not wearing a ring.
Also, I was looking in the mirror last night, and I am starting to get wrinkles. WRINKLES. Does this all come with the mommy territory? YIKES.
I'm going to hunt down that USB cable so I can download some more recent pics of my boy. More SOON!
